The Veleiro Bed was designed for the interior design of a house by the sea. The intention was for the design to mimic the horizontality and picturesqueness of the surroundings, which is why we made a bed with a low structure, its body is subtly elevated by cylindrical rods that deform and are absorbed by the base frame. The fabric headboard alludes to the sails of a boat, when the lower and upper cylindrical beams of the bed are used to tension and turn a support surface. The finished height and rounded finishes of the wood create an inviting and comfortable bed for the user.
