Gica: the modern and minimalist design by Arthur Casas

Signed by designer Arthur Casas, Gica is a detached, independent and rare bed, created to surprise the contemporary scene dominated by box beds and built-in joinery. The piece can vacate its traditional place and be freed from the wall to serve as a divider for a side table or office table. The detachable headboard is made up of an innovative plug system – the same used in planes, cars and trains – and a precise finish that contributes to its long-term maintenance, as the front part can be easily disconnected and its fabric covering removed to washing.

Architect Arthur Casas recently designed the Gica bed for Bell'Arte Dreams. With a modernist and contemporary style, the creation of Studio Arthur Casas is closely linked to a horizontal scale, where dialogue in the design of programs is fundamental, from objects to landscapes.

With offices in São Paulo and New York, the team of designers, architects and urban planners has works in several cities around the world, such as Tokyo, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, New York and São Paulo, creating an internationally recognized and published vocabulary.
